"I really love the eyes, your work it's so amazing. I'm definitely recommending you to everyone. I very much adore it and am forever going to treasure it."

"Thank you so much for Trino's portrait Aimee. It's Beautiful. People say an artist captures likeness. You've done more than that, you've somehow transmitted the liveliness and personality that Trino communicates with us."

Sarah, WA

"Thanks so much Aimee for your fantastic work, it has arrived today and we're so thrilled with the details. Thanks so much!"

Choosing Your Photos

It’s important that the photo you choose is one that you resonate with and that you feel captures the essence of your pet well. Feel free to send me more than one photo.

A good quality clear photo is very important for me to capture your pet in a painting. Head and shoulders, taken up close and outside in natural light is preferable. Try and take the photo at eye level with the animal rather than looking down or up. You might have to prop your pet up on a chair or table to take the photo at eye level. Have your pet facing away from the sun so that they are not squinting. If you can, please take collars off.

If you live in our around Castlemaine VIC, I can come a take photos of your pet. Please email me to arrange.

Exceptions:  If the portrait is of a pet that has passed away or you are commissioning a portrait as a gift and cannot take new photos, that’s ok! Just send me through the photos you have and I’ll let you know if I can work with them.

Gift Vouchers

A pet portrait can make a very special gift. A gift voucher is useful if you’d like to give someone a pet portrait as a present, but you want the recipient to be able to choose the reference photo for the painting. To organise a gift voucher, please just send me an email.
